Who would win in a wizard duel:
Dumbledore VS Gandolf?
the comments page nearly crashed my computer and I felt compelled to weigh in on such a heavy issue.
Really how can you compare two of the greatest literary wizards? Not to sound superior but I know very few non nerds who have actually taken the time to read the lord of the rings trilogy and the prequel the hobbit. This is because my generation has always looked down on literature, they think it’s beneath them. But I digress, this is the bitterness of one who was actually made fun of for reading so much in the lower grades. I love both series, and I find both wizards to be a formidable combatant. However though I love Dumbledore more, I think that if it came down to it Gandolf would be the victor. He has more fight in him than Dumbedore, and he lives in a harsher reality than the headmaster of Hogwarts. Though it would be a close fight
And for a second there I was reminded of the Merlin fight from one of my favorite childhood movies The Sword in the Stone.
