Stars don't shine in the city...

upcoming movies 2009 edition

The Watchmen (From the director of 300, it’s going to be incredible. Plus they have Muse in the trailer, which is sweet)

X-men Origins (all I have to say is, Gambit will be in it. That’s all that matters. FINALLY Gambit will make his appearence. I admit I had the hots for him on the animated cartoon series when I was 8.)

Terminator Salvation (Now notorious for Christian Bale’s audio recorded meltdown, I want to see this. Cyberdine industries will not be victorious!)

Transformers Revenge of the Fallen (this is just going to be 2 hours of pure awesomeness)

I love you, Man (Jason Segal and Paul Rudd, How I do love thee!)
Adventureland (Kristen Wiig is my comedy god, I will see anything for her. Even if it does feature the Kristen Stewart who I loathe.)

The House on the Left (Interesting concept, I believe it is a Stephen
King novel and a remake? not sure. I want to see it either way, I love Sarah Paxton)

Coraline (This films just looks amazing, I have to see it in 3d!)

A Haunting in Connecticut (the trailer freaks me out, if the trailer alone can freak me out, this is worth shelling out money for the cheap scares)

The Ugly Truth (Gerard Butler doesn’t know this, but one day I will have his babies)
Knowing (Oh Nicholas cage, how you have fallen, I hope this movie makes up for it)

Push (I have a feeling this is going to suck despite it’s cool trailers. But I’m interested.)

The Proposal (even though Sandra Bullock’s last 2 films sucked balls, I’m willing to give her one more chance)

Up! (pixar) (everything pixar touches (except Ratatouille) is gold)

9 (I believe Tim burton is behind this, so…I’m going)

Sunshine Cleaning  (I love Amy Adams and Emily Blunt…even if Emily Blunt stole my man..w/e)

Monsters Vs Aliens (I love kids movies…)

Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (cheesy chick flick, Hooray! I love Jen Garner)

Star Trek (not a trekkie, but it looks so sweet)

The Brother’s Bloom (great cast, interesting storyline)

Night at the Museum (I loved the first one…)

Land of the Lost (hahaha, I won’t even explain this.)

The Year 1 (Michael Cera’s awkwardness makes me want to jump his bones.)

Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince (OMFG)

The Lovely Bones (one of the best books I have ever read)

Friday the Thirteenth (slasher remake, sweeet.)

My sister’s Keeper (I have faith in you Cameron Diaz, don’t let me down)

500 days of summer (I will watch anything with Zooey Deschannel, she’s my woman crush. Guys have man crushes, I can have a woman crush)

Funny People (Zohan sucked, hopefully this one won’t)

Julie & Julia (Meryl Streep!!)

Inglorious Bastards (Tarantino is a god among movies)

The Wolfman (I like werewolf movies- American Werewolf in London ftw?)

2012 (the effects look incroyable.)

These are all the movies that I want to see this year. There’s a quite a wide variety. I take pride in the fact that I am one of those people that likes obscure indie films (and no, sorry, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind is not obscure) and I like huge blockbusters. I love film in it’s entirety from the cheesiest of chick flicks to the goriest of slasher movies. I own almost 500 dvds, my walls are covered with movie posters, I can tell you the title of almost any movie ever made from my years working at blockbuster, yet I can’t convince certain people that I can make a career promoting movies.

I will do it.

I can do it.

I will be damn good at it.
