I want to see this. Why isn’t it playing near me? It looks amazingly touching and funny. I think it could possible be an oscar underdog (reminds me of sunshine cleaming).
Plus the part where Amy Adams is saying “I’m goot at getting men to want me, not date me or marry me, but want me” made me almost tear up. (but I’m a wimp)
Also I watched Let the Right one in the other day. (in swedish, anyone who watches the dubbed version is just missing out in my opinion). Incredible movie really. I loved how they didn’t make the vampires too violent and gory, and didn’t make them super goth and mysterious. I mean Eli was mysterious, but just the right amount. I love how it actually drew on vampire lore (not being able to come in without being asked) unlike a certain piece of overhyped literary trash that I could name. The actors were great! I’m disappointed to hear they are already making a remake in english that comes out in 2011. 20 bucks says it sucks.
